Welcome to Ogilvie's Cottages - your gateway to the Ottawa Valley

The traditional log cottages on the 500 hectare site have hosted many weddings, family reunions and other group gatherings over the years.

The cottages are also used by individuals or family units to holiday or visit family in the area, as well as people working locally who need longer term accommodation for professional reasons. Book your stay by the night, week or month.

Each cottage has an individual fully-equipped kitchen. Groups can also arrange access to our kitchen and dining room to organise larger meals.

There are 2 and 3 bedroom properties available. The most spacious house is the original log cabin farmhouse and inn dating back to the 1880s, with a living room overlooking the lake. The other log cottages have been moved from local Ottawa Valley farms and renovated over the years. They are all very comfortable, the log walls make the cottages cool in the summer and cosy in the winter as well as being warmed by wood-burning stoves.

There are canoes, kayaks and water play accessories on site. Enjoy paddling around the lake or swimming out to the floating dock.

Ogilvie's Cottages are in a setting of natural beauty with wildlife and forests in every direction, and within metres of the dramatic and mighty Ottawa River.
